It contains only 3 ingredients and has a rich, bubbly lather. African Black Soap has many uses, including all over the skin, on the hair, for shaving, and for general cleansing. According to the Cleveland Clinic, this plant-based soap has natural antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and exfoliating properties. It can be used to soften skin for shaving and to soothe razor burned skin or razor bumps. It can be used to moisturize skin without stripping essential skin oils. It is known as a natural source of Vitamin E, Vitamin A, and iron. Because it is all natural and has so few ingredients, African Black Soap's texture is soft and mildly crumbly. It is very malleable and can easily be molded back into shape. Your bar will last longer in the shower if kept dry between uses, such as with a draining soap dish or a soap net.
